Really get a feel for what it's like to be of Royal descendant as you become immersed in the grandeur of the world's largest occupied castle, Windsor Castle.

This magnificent building is still an official residence of The Queen, and remains a working palace today after over 900 years of being a fortress and home to the Royal family. Watch out for The Royal Standard flag which means that you will be sharing the building with the Queen herself.

There is plenty to explore including the State Apartments, which are exquisite suites at the heart of the working palace. For part of the year you can also see the Semi State rooms, which are some of the most intricate and splendid interiors in the castle, furnished with treasures from the Royal Collection including many famous paintings, fine tapestries and porcelain, sculpture and armour.

Within the Castle compound there are many additional attractions and exhibits to keep all entertained, including Queen Mary|quote;s dolls|quote; house, and the fourteenth-century St. George|quote;s Chapel, the burial place of ten sovereigns and setting for many Royal weddings.
