The world's best-loved musical, The Sound of Music has made a triumphant return to the West End with a dazzling new production at the London Palladium.
The Sound of Music stars the recently discovered bright new talent of musical theatre, Summer Strallen as Maria, together with Britain's most popular soprano, Lesley Garrett as the Mother Abbess and Alex Hanson as Captain von Trapp.
This timeless family classic, based on the uplifting true story of the Von Trapp family, was the last collaboration between Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, becoming one of the most successful Oscar-winning film musicals of all time and features some of the most memorable songs ever performed on the musical stage including My Favourite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Edelweiss and Climb Ev|quote;ry Mountain.
